Chris Vezina 1978 - 2003

Chris came into this world June 13, 1978. From the time he was a toddler he lived life at full speed. A determined boy, he participated in many sports, accepted every challenge and always pushed the limits. Fast cars, faster motorcycles, hockey, skiing, kickboxing, skydiving, travel and other adventures filled his memory bank

Chris had emerged from those difficult teenage years a confident and affable young man with an inner strength he had only begun to tap. He found a job which brought out the best in him and pursued the love of his life, Andrea. The road ahead was smooth and the future was filled with sunshine.

Saturday November 22, 2003 found Chris in Chicago where the picture above was taken. He flew home on Sunday afternoon, enjoyed some time with family and friends and watched a late night movie with his brother Matt. Early Monday morning he called Andrea and then went to sleep. He never woke up. Six months later the coroner would conclude that the most likely cause of death was a sudden cardiac arrhythmia.

The hundreds who came to pay their respects and a filled to capacity church were a tribute to Chris’ life and the impact he had on so many people

Wanting to find a fitting memorial his friends and family established in 2004 The Annual Chris Vezina Golf Tournament for charity. The first three events sold out early; the fourth will be held September 22, 2007.
