Contest Rules
- You must be a resident of Ontario and 19 years of age or older to enter.
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- Employees (or immediate family members of employees) of The Mississauga News, Metroland Media Group Ltd. or any agency connected with any contest are not eligible to win any prize.
- The Mississauga News and contest sponsors are not responsible or liable for entries that are misdirected, delayed, destroyed or lost in delivery. There is also no responsibility or liability for any potential entrant's inability to access www.mississauga.com for contest entry.
- The full contest rules can be obtained by request at The Mississauga News reception or on line at www.mississauga.com.
- Entries that are late, incomplete, unintelligible, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified.
- Potential winners will be notified by email and/or announced during The News @ Noon and The News @ 5, aired via www.mississauga.com.
- The Mississauga News and contest sponsors are not liable for any damages or injuries as a result of participation in any contest or as a result of attendance at events where prizes are awarded.
- This contest is subject to the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada as may be applicable.
- Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- The Mississauga News reserves the right to amend these rules as and when they deem necessary. Rules may change from time to time in any given contest. The Mississauga News and contest sponsors are not responsible for any typographical, production or distribution errors that may occur during the contest or in any contest material.
- Decisions of The Mississauga News and contest sponsors are final in all cases.
- Winners agree to allow their names and photographs to be used for promotional purposes without compensation.
- Potential prize winners must abide by directives specified by The Mississauga News to claim their prize. Under no circumstances will The Mississauga News deliver or mail any prizes at any time. It is up to prize winners to pick up their prize by the deadline, when specified, or within 30 days if a pick-up deadline is not specified.
- All entries become the sole property of The Mississauga News and cannot, nor will not, be returned for any reason. All entries will be destroyed four weeks after conclusion of the contest.
